The Play Experiment is your daily dose of giving yourself permission. It’s about having the courage to explore what makes you feel alive.

Bring
The Play Experiment is a month-long challenge that includes daily play prompts delivered via email and video with the option to participate with our play community. These are the kind of “players” you want in your life.
Each play prompt will give you an invitation of something to make, try, explore, or experiment with.
There’s lots of room to personalize the experience to the time you want it to take.
They will also include bite-sized lessons on how to give yourself the permission and support to do something new.
This experiment helps you reconnect to the parts of yourself that you may have set aside to be “the adult”, “the business owner,” “the parent,” or “the professional.” Thanks to the variety of play prompts and encouragement to try new things, it will help you tap into how you want to live a life you’re proud AF about.
“I think I deserve something beautiful.”
– Liz Gilbert

Why play?
When you are more you, you’re more confident in how you show up, owning the hell out of your voice, what you want, and your presence with yourself and others.
We believe that more play combats burn-out and makes the balance of work-life sustainable and *gasp* enjoyable.
This is something you can find at any moment in any day.
We’re going to show you how.
With some practice and experience, you’ll build a bank of tools and understanding that will help you live your most awake life.
When we have not given ourselves permission to play for a long time, it can feel tricky. We might not know how to make space for the experience. We might also face our culture, gender roles, family patterns, and self-martyrdom. We might have to update the relationship with our nervous system.
There is no rush here. Meet us wherever you are.
You’re encouraged to use the hashtag #JanuaryPlayExperiment to post about your daily experience and connect with others on Instagram. This isn’t mandatory, but is a fun way to be part of an intentional community.
